Sacred Seshen Exquisite Perfume

According to the Egyptian Hieroglyphs the coveted fragrance of Cleopatra was the sweet & intoxicating smell of blue lotus. It is often referred to as “cannabis of Ancient Egypt.” The recipe for her signature scent, known as Seshen or Nenúfar, is supposed to be combination of Frankincense, Blue Lotus & Cinnamon, which is the basis for our beautiful formulation, Sacred Seshen.

Blue lotus was used both as an aphrodisiac to stimulate sexual desire and potency and in meditation to stimulate the third eye. This beautiful sweet scented flower is known to induce a state of euphoria, calmness, and relaxation and is also used as a sleep aid for the purpose of lucid dreaming or shamanic journeying, and to relieve insomnia.

Frankincense, known as “The King of Oils”, contains properties that reduce feelings of anxiety, stimulate the immune system, and diminish signs of aging, among other demonstrated activities. It can be used cosmetically, medicinally, and for eliminating surface and airborne bacteria.

The fragrant bark of Cinnamon, which is harvested twice a year, is one of the oldest recorded spices in history, and was in ancient times considered as valuable as gold.  It was also used in the funerary preparations and rites of embalming in Ancient Egypt.

The base of jojoba & castor oils is both good for the skin and provides a penetrating lasting effect to prolong the presence of this wonderful fragrance!

We offer our Sacred Seshen exquisite perfume with a choice of a beautiful decorative bottle and a smaller roller bottle with a Lapis lazuli roller & rose quartz chips to enhance the energy of the perfume. Blue Lapis crystal was considered sacred to Ancient Egyptians so this felt to be the perfect choice! 

INGREDIENTS: Essential Oils of Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea), Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) & Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) in a base of Organic Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) & Castor (Ricinus communis) Oils.

TO USE: Apply a small amount to heart & pulse points for a deliciously euphoric, calming and even aphrodisiac effect or as a meditation aid.
