The characteristic scent of Patchouli oil can be described as woody, sweet, and spicy and is often used as a scent in perfumes, incense & cosmetics.Patchouli oil has a variety of additional uses and medicinal properties. Some of these include:

• anti-inflammatory effects
• easing symptoms such as colds, headache and stomach upset
• antidepressant effects
• relieves stress and anxiety
• relieving for scalp and skin conditions
• controlling appetite
• insecticide, antifungal, & antibacterial properties

Patchouli is one of those scents that people either love or have a strong aversion to.  It has the delightful quality of changing with each person’s body chemistry to become a fragrance individual to the wearer.

INGREDIENTS: Essential Oil Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin).

TO USE:Apply a drop or two externally as a perfume or well diluted in a carrier oil and or blended with other oils for healing or mood elevating/calming effects.
