Most of us know what it’s like to suffer with an uncomfortably pounding headache. Headaches may have many possible causes, that can be difficult, if not impossible, to pinpoint just where it came from.  Common causes may include such things as dehydration, anxiety, eating and sleeping patterns, medication, noise, physical activity or lack thereof, posture, hormones or food sensitivities.

One thing we know for certain though, in this moment our first priority is to get the pain to stop!

Because this important remedy is also relevant to fever, we must touch on that here…

Most fevers are caused by infections. Our bodies use the heat of a fever to try and kill the virus or bacteria that has caused the infection. It is harder for bacteria and viruses to survive when our bodies are in a state of fever. A fever too high however is very dangerous to our body, and can cause serious, long-lasting damage. We are in favour of fever for fighting the tiny bugs, we are NOT in favour of fever damaging our organs. With this remedy we hope to prevent a fever from getting too hot! With both conditions comes a considerable amount of pain we’d rather not experience and so we check in with mother nature who has a cabinet full of wonderful herbs filled with powers to remedy what ails us. In our Headache/Pain/Fever Tincture we’ve compiled herbs with anti-inflammatory effects that may work in preventing headaches by inhibiting smooth muscle contraction, as an analgesic, and by inhibiting blood platelet aggregation. We use herbs that have aspirin-like compounds that relieve pain and reduce fevers, but unlike aspirin, these herbs don’t cause gastric damage. INGREDIENTS: Thyme (Thymus vulgaris), Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium), White Willow (Salix alba), Meadowsweet (Filipendula Filipendula ulmaria), Damiana Leaf (Turnera aphrodisiaca), Fenugreek Seed (Trigonella foenum-graecum), Birch Bark (Betula pendula), Aqua, Grain-Free Alcohol & Essential Oil of Peppermint (Mentha arvensis).

TO USE: Take 1-3 dropper pulls under the tongue for headache, pain or fever.  May repeat every 4-6 hours as needed.
