Mango Butter has been used by the indigenous people of the forest regions of southeast Asia for centuries. It is known to be rich in antioxidants and emollients as well as Vitamins A and E, and it can be used to soften and moisturize rough and dry skin. Its natural properties are useful for reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Plum Kernel Organic Carrier Oil is a stable, non-greasy moisturizing oil that is suitable for all skin types. Its rich fatty acid content, including high concentrations of oleic and linoleic acid, help maintain the skin's natural protective function while its Vitamin A and E content nourish the skin and hair to help maintain a healthy appearance. Used cosmetically, it is known to help reduce the appearance of puffy or irritated skin, dark circles, and dryness

Vegetable glycerin is a popular skincare treatment because of its moisturizing power. Research shows that applying glycerin to your skin may gradually improve its smoothness and suppleness. In fact, using creams containing glycerin may increase skin hydration in as few as 10 days

Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol primarily used in cosmetics as a sweetener, a thickener and humectant. It is a conditioning agent for the skin, preventing moisture loss from both the skin and the hair.

Sodium cocoyl isethionate is a natural ingredient that is derived from coconuts, specifically coconut oil. The process includes mixing a natural sulfonic acid called isethionic acid with the fatty acids that naturally occur in coconut oil.

Disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate (DLS) is a gentle surfactant that foams with water and cleanses the skin and hair.  Surfactants are partly water-soluble and partly oil-soluble, which allows the oil and water-based ingredients of a formula to blend well, but also to be rinsed well.

DLS is often used in cosmetics as a milder alternative to sulphates.

Phenoxyethanol is an ether alcohol that is naturally derived from green tea that is often used in the place of parabens in skin care and soap products. In cosmetics, it functions as a preservative, a solvent, and an antimicrobial ingredient.

Tetrasodium EDTA is a chelating agent used to prevent minerals and metals present in water-based formulations from bonding to other ingredients and impacting their efficacy. Chelating agents also prevent unwanted changes to a product’s texture, odor, and/or consistency, so are considered good stabilizers.

Grapefruit essential oil can help to clean and clear your skin of blemishes, dark spots and acne. Pink Grapefruit essential oil is an antioxidant due to its high levels of vitamin C which is also a friend to your skin.

Frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent, meaning it helps protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce acne blemishes

Rosemary essential oil acts as a refreshing astringent that balances and tones the skin. Topical application of Rosemary Oil helps decongest acne and oily skin types while maintaining balance within the skin. Rosemary Oil's antimicrobial benefits give oily and acneic skin an advantage in preventing future breakouts.

TO USE: Lather this luxurious bath butter over your face and body as needed and allow it to moisturize your skin as it gently cleanses, then rinse.
